As for the wedding dress, who says white rules? Vera Wang’s 2013 collection just strut its stuff down the runway in gorgeous burgundy hues and reds. A fairytale bride in an all black and purple gown, or a flowing veil of shimmering red tulle, is just as stunning! This outstanding beauty is brilliantly displayed in the bridal couture collection by KMKDesigns . I love their wedding dress collection, the fabrics are luscious and so glamorous, and they offer a fantastic menswear wedding apparel line. You can find anything from a Lolita inspired Victorian dresses, to a fabulous black and brown Steampunk wedding gowns with gathered skirt, among others, just fresh and so chic.
The ceremony and reception decor grant you space to give the wedding a little personality and a punch of color. Be Gothic and ghoulish, or just playful and colorful — you can test newfound ideas and incorporate them in table decor, favors, banners, chair backers and sweet table displays. This beautiful handmade doll by Piecake Primitives, would make a lovely addition to a wedding cake table or the head table in a Halloween or gothic wedding. She is handmade by the wonderful Lorraine Gerbi, the artist behind the primitive folk art dolls at Piecake Primitives. Lorraine offers such a wide range of dolls and styles with the most fascinating collection of primitive dolls you can imagine, it’s hard to pick just one.
And what wedding wouldn’t be complete without a dynamic addition to the wedding cake. There are so many amazing wedding cake toppers with skulls, punk brides and grooms, and Mexican sugar skulls, but I found the very whimsical styles of Kisses by Cat delightful. Kisses by Cat offers unique wedding toppers, and this Gothic couple really caught my eye, but they have so many more. Paper crafts and other decorating ideas can also be found, each lovingly crafted and handmade with delicate paper gowns and tuxedos, complete with sparkling jewelry and glitter, and finished by the sweetest and delicate little roses you can find.
