A few weeks back I wrote about my adventures in branding. I worked with the wonderful designer behind the blog Maddie’s Place to really capture in the new logo what EightTreeStreet is doing with new design ideas for decor not only for your front door, but for events and weddings.
Hope you like our new look, and we have just started! My mind is full of new ideas after two wonderful weeks of Wedding Fridays. What amazing designers we had the opportunity to feature, and they all have inspired me so much! Wreaths will continue to be a big part of my artistic endeavour, I am so happy to see them included in Amy Atlas’ new book for weddings, “Sweet Designs,” with a little wreath right in the middle of one of her famous dessert tables. Yes, wreaths are in and so fashionable! And, making wedding wreaths is one of my favorite things!
Later on in May, we’ll get back to some home design ideas, we even have a couple of guest bloggers. One is a totally fabulous designer with a fresh take on interior design, a fun sense of humor, which is what I love so much about her, so personal, and contemporary and very organic view of home decorating incorporating DIYs and repurposed furnitures and finds. Weddings will continue, and I’ll share some ideas for brides planning the wedding on a budget.
For for now here’s a look at the new logo, designed by the talented Irma Navarro-Hankins. She took in all my craziness and made it into a super fun, totally modern design, with one little flower…you know how I feel, that single flower brings forth all the design ideas I dream off! Happy Monday!
