I am trilled to introduce you to one of my favorite themes, Chinoiserie chic. For this wedding inspiration we designed at AJAX DC, a new venue with an industrial rustic look, we teamed up with a group of amazing wedding vendors. We were thrilled that this shoot was featured in United With Love and also Aisle Perfect. The color scheme for this inspiration included rich royal and French blues, pinks and white, with a touch of greenery.
We love the gorgeous hints of tropicals and the color palette with blues in Palm Beach chinoiserie and decided to include them in our inspiration at Ajax DC. Our inspiration shoot is designed to offer a stylish and chic theme that draws from interior design and mixes colors and palettes in a gorgeous vignette that mixes birds, china with delicate blooms, stationery with indigo hues and birds and greenery, and hints of Chinese inspired designs. Chinoiserie caught our eye as a new mix of old and new, and we love the hues of indigo and the touches of florals and birds, with clean lines and sweet accents.
Ajax DC is just so amazing and versatile with hints of rustic, modern loft and perfect for modern couples looking for something distinctive and unique for their wedding day.
The husband and wife team at Ajunero Photography captured each detail. Aside from the flowers and the gorgeous linens from Nuage Designs Inc, my favorite part of this shoot was the gorgeous cake by Catherine George Cakes.
Lots of tropical greenery and a delicate palette of tulips and hydrangeas with roses, fit perfectly along with locally grown blooms including peonies, snapdragons, cafe au lait dahlias and mock orange sourced locally from PlantMasters, The design was both delicate and evoke the fun of chinoiserie chic.
Designed by Eight Tree Street Floral with photography by Ajunero Photography, this modern Chinoiserie Chic inspiration combines blues and pinks with hints of green, in a color palette that is both fun and functional for all seasons. We love the delicate cake designed by Catherine George’s cake with delightful sugar flowers, and the invite suite in blue by Cate Hunter Designs.
Hanwriting captured the mood with calligraphy watercolor place cards in all the colors of the shoot and we included an indigo silk ribbon from ShyMyrtle to match the main color theme.
The jewelry by Sara Gabriel and gown by Justin Alexander provided by Fabulous Frocks of Alexandria were a complement for a sophisticated and classic romantic look.
